Sarto contacted all Funeral Directors to get their email addresses to send them a copy of the “Acknowledgement, Agreement and Release” form which is to be completed by the next of kin and sent to the Cemetery Sexton before any grave site can be opened.

The cremated remains of Walter E. Woods who died on 1-31-10 were buried in Section IV (4) Lot #114,
Plot 3.
Ida Albrecht who died on 4-25-10 was buried in Section IV (4) Lot #92B, Plot 2.

The cremated remains of Abbie Warman who died on 5-4-10 were buried in Section III (3), Lot #52, Plot D.

The cremated remains of June Morey who died on April 26, 2010 were buried in Section VI (6), Part O, Plot 39.

We received a phone call from Nancy Dunker of a law firm in Manchester, CT requesting the transfer/sale of a plot owned by Ida Albrecht. Sarto called Ms. Dunker and informed her that we could only transfer the Deed ownership. She will send a copy of the Original Deed so it can be transferred to Ida Albrecht’s daughter.

Sarto received a phone call from Kristin LaPlante requesting a Cemetery Meeting for a Ms. Gregoire for information about Bound Corner Markers. The meeting will be on June 15, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

The cremated remains of John H. Goodhall were buried in Section IV (4), Lot 89, Plot 5.

Cemetery Commission Meeting
Present: Sarto Caron, Pat Caron, Brian Johnson
7:00 p.m.
Ms. Dorothy Gregoire of 60 Wales Rd., requested bound markers for her daughter’s plot in Sect. VIII, Plots 86-87. Upon payment, bound markers will be ordered for Marie and Bill Swartzwelder, Mrs. Dorothy Gregoire’s daughter.
We received a letter and a copy of a Cemetery Deed Right of Burial from Jacobs, Walker, Rice and Barry, LLC, Attorneys at law, requesting the transfer of the remaining lot (3) to: Christine E. McCarthy, daughter of Ida Albrecht. A new deed was written and will be mailed to the Attorney.
7:25 p.m.
Motion was made by Brian Johnson and seconded by Sarto Caron to increase Ken Basdekis’ wages to $12.00 per hour beginning July 1, 2010. All were in favor.
We discussed improvements to the cemetery and how best to spend the remaining funds in our various accounts. Suggested were:
1 - Buying pads for the backhoe
2 - Fertilizer
3 - Purchasing screened loam
4 – Painting the shed.
We adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
